The M1 achieves its 1,900mm lifting height through a four-post frame structure with a column height of 2,150mm, and every dimension has been chosen with purpose.  The 800mm clearance between platforms is what gives you flexibility below the raised vehicle, whether that is for another car parked at ground level or for access and inspection. The 125mm lowest platform height means loading is low and straightforward without needing ramps across the full run unless you want them.
