You install this on the existing floor and it is ready to work. No pit, no groundworks, no scheduling a contractor before you can start lifting cars. The platforms rise to 1850mm, giving you proper standing access to brakes, suspension and exhaust work on cars and light commercials, and because it sits above the floor rather than recessed into it, it suits garages with lower ceiling clearance where an in-ground lift was never going to fit anyway.
How the SF110 reaches full lift height from a surface mount
Each platform runs on its own hydraulic ram, which is what lets this lift reach a genuine 1850mm without needing the extra structural depth an in-ground system relies on. Parachute valves sit on each ram and hold the platform in position if hydraulic pressure drops, backed by electromagnetic locking that engages independently of the hydraulics. The run up ramps lock in place too, so a longer wheelbase vehicle does not shift the platform position mid-job.
